Check out this incredible album “House of Corners” by our good friend, Secret Pockets. It was recorded from 2009-2010 and subsequently shelved for a while, until now. Secret Pockets is playing newer stuff live these days and recording a new record. Check it out!
New Common Face songs are being laid down. Need we say more?
The EP is finally available for free download via the duo’s bandcamp page. This thing was recorded in June 2009 and subsequently forgotten about. Releasing it now is like a flashback to that time for us, and we hope you’ll think of the summer of ’09 fondly while you listen.
The band is grateful for another lovely cover painting by Carol Jinier.

2. Daughters of the Sea
3. Misery Day Parade
4. How Would Jesus Drive?
5. Gon’ See the King
The album’s title is inspired by the effect of shining a flashlight through your hand.
Thanks, and enjoy!

The infamous Red Thumb Light EP by Flashman Irving and Nillo is finally going to be released! This thing has been sitting on the shelf for years. It finally occurred to us that this gem should be released. We’re just digging up all the old tracks and putting it together, so keep your ears peeled!
Friends,
Let it be known that donations have tapered off and we are subsequently offering the Meridian Hill EP by Nillo & Flashman Irving for FREE download on our bandcamp. Nevertheless, donations to BCAN to fund bladder cancer research are still warmly welcomed. Thanks.
I had the chance to catch up with Michael Chornomaz of Sunshine Voyager recently and he offered me a couple new tracks. He is moving to Hawaii later this month to work on a farm and we’ll miss him dearly, but for now Mike had this to say about these new tracks, “I worked really hard on production lately…I decided that I’ve recorded enough emo sadish songs and that nobody wanted to hear that shit, including myself. So now i’m making either happy or meditative tracks. I’m working on another one right now, totally different. kind of like repetitive, meditative”.
